facilities: |
|
Automatic Horizontal Coating
Line, with the flexibility
to apply powder and/or wet coating systems using
electrostatic technology. After coating, components are
stoved and cured by passing them through a
gas-fired infra-red oven and/or convection
diesel-fired oven. An integral part of the coating
system is a multi-stage pre-treatment facility, which
includes alkali degreasing, acid etching, chromating,
phosphating and de-ionised water rinses. |
 |
|
Automatic Pipe Coating Line , capable of handling pipes with
diameters of ½"-6" and lengths of 2700 - 3200 mm. This
line applies the fluidised bed method of coating with
on-line curing. |
 |
|
Linear Automatic Pipe Coating Line
, can coat pipes with diameters
of ½"- 6" and of any length upto 12 meters. This line
applies an innovative spray technique, and has on-line
curing. |
|
|
Rotary Coating Line , installed for coating small items and
accessories for the electrical, fencing industries and for custom
coating of small components. |
 |
|
Fluoropolymer Coating Line
for applying wet system
fluorocarbon (PTFE) and ceramic coatings, with high
temperature curing ovens. |
 |
|
"Quadrant" (Vibratory Screen) Automatic
Coater for coating large
volume, small physical size components. |
|
|
Fluidised Bed Powder Coating , a custom line designed for
specialised batch coating, consisting of dip-coating
tanks and a 6m long oven. |
 |
Surface
treatment facilities - two types - Physical
and Chemical:
| |
The Physical Treatment consists of three grit
blasting units which include an automatic pipe blaster,
separate chilled garnet grit-blast room and a
wheelabrator tumble grit-blaster. |
 |
|
|
The Chemical Unit is a complete line consisting of alkali
degreasing, acid etching, chromating & phosphating
plus a dynamic rinse tank with deionized water to ensure
correct and clean pre-treatment. |
